COVID-19 UPDATE
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the State of Ohio stay at home order, we wanted to let you know that we are still open and will remain so as we are considered an essential business. Just like everyone right now, we have been trying to adjust to all of the changes and still provide the care for your animals that you expect from us. We are still seeing patients though we are trying to space out our appointments to make sure no one is waiting in the waiting area and that we can check people out quickly and efficiently. We are also doing our part to limit our need for personal protective gear by temporarily postponing all elective procedures until after this is resolved, but we will still perform any medically necessary surgeries or procedures where it is not in the animal’s best interest to wait. Medical and wellness visits do not typically use any of these products so we will still be seeing those appointments. It is also very important to make sure that if your pets aren't on heartworm and flea and tick prevention that we get them started. The parasites that are just coming back out after the winter don't care about viruses or any stay at home orders. We do have products in stock or they can be ordered at our online store.
The main thing to be assured of is that there is no evidence you cannot catch or transmit this virus to your pets. These are times when we really learn the value of our animals and what makes them a part of our family. They are thrilled that we are all staying home with them more, and are there to provide comfort, support and an outlet for the pent up frustrations everyone is feeling right now. We can all take a cue from them and remember that hearing a good boy/girl, a snuggle on the couch with those you love, and a walk can actually make it a good day.
